The Choshi is made of durable phenolic resin, combining ease of handling with lightness. The inside is finished with genuine urushi (lacquer) coating, offering a calm luster and a deep, rich texture. The outside is coated with cashew lacquer, which has a similar gloss and durability to lacquer, while providing beautiful color and a smooth surface.
