Antique Meisen kimono. This is a very cute Meisen kimono with a retro-pop striped pattern in pinkish reddish-purple, mint green, yellow, and gray. It has a bat-wing collar. The lining of the body and sleeves is made of beni-kinu (red silk), and the hem (hakkake) and sleeve cuffs are made of light orange-colored muslin. As you can see in the photos, the muslin lining has many repaired areas and small moth-eaten holes. As shown in the photos, there are some slight stains and dirt on the front side, as well as weaving flaws that are common in Meisen. The condition is not very good, but the colors and patterns are cute, and the outer fabric is sturdy, so I think it can be worn by those who are familiar with antique kimonos.
