The patent leather on the outside of the left shoe has some slight marks from the cushioning material during storage. This may vary depending on the individual, but I think they are unnoticeable from a distance. Adhesive insoles have been placed inside the shoes for cushioning. This is the type with an adhesive seal only in the center. I recall wearing them about 2 times. As you may be able to see somewhat in the photos, there are faint black stains on the leather from wear. The heel part is not leather, but a plastic-like material, so the design makes wear less noticeable. I liked this design because if it were leather, it would get scuffed and require maintenance.
