The actual instrument clearly displays the quilt's figuring. ※There was an omission in the description, but all volume and tone pots have been replaced with new ALPHA A500K pots. 【Serviced / Ready to Play】Epiphone Les Paul (Originally Ultra II / Quilt Top / Passive) Originally equipped with a Shadow nanoMAG (fingerboard end pickup) from the Ultra II, it has now been modified to a standard Les Paul with a fully passive wiring setup. ✅ Modifications & Servicing (Carefully Performed) • Full conversion from active to passive wiring • New ALPHA A500K pots (Volume x 2 / Tone x 2) • Epiphone stock pickups: Front - 57CH / Rear - HOTCH • Capacitors: Montreux Orange Drop 0.022µF (see photo 18) • Wiring: 2-conductor (no coil tap) • Tuners: Replaced with black tuners (likely GOTOH / original holes touched up) • Jack plate: Custom-made from PVC board due to a widened jack hole (strong) • Metal escutcheons (slight resonance in acoustic sound / no sound through amp) • Small crack on the lower left of the front escutcheon (no problem in use) • Pickguard removed (sunburn difference / included) ✅ Playing Condition • Truss rod: Tested for approximately 90° movement in both directions • Neck: Almost straight • String height: 1st string approx. 1.5mm / 6th string approx. 2.0mm at the last fret • Replaced with Elixir Optiweb 10-46 strings (ready to play immediately) ✅ Sound Classic Les Paul sound: thick and clear. Comparable to a Les Paul with SH-6 (Duncan Distortion) in terms of high-gain capability.
