Wooden trinket box purchased in New Zealand. Made from New Zealand kauri wood. "Kauri" refers to a giant tree of the Agathis family, native to New Zealand, reaching 40m in height and 4m in diameter. The lid features the blue-green iridescence of paua shell (I believe), creating a beautiful contrast with the warm wood. This round part seems to be slightly raised. Please refer to the photos for the size. There is a scratch on the lid (photo 4). There may be other scratches as well. I apologize if I missed anything. I purchased this over 10 years ago. The lid simply rests on top. There are no fasteners. I have kept my accessories in it with care (see photo 12). Accessories are not included. There is an explanation card about the product, but it is deteriorated (photo 11). Please understand. I am selling this as I am getting rid of my accessories. I hope you will cherish it.
