I don't think it's been a double-digit number of years, but I bought it a long time ago. The pads were deteriorated, so I removed them. Also, although the cable conducts electricity, depending on how it's connected, sound only comes out of one side. Therefore, the parts need to be replaced, so I'm selling it as junk.
