I received another kagami mochi from relatives, so I'm putting this one up for sale, even though I really liked it. It seems they don't sell this size anymore, so it's no longer available for purchase. In the third photo, I've circled a spot where the circle is slightly white to make it easier to see. It was like that from the beginning. I didn't mind it, but if you're concerned, it can be hidden depending on how you display it. The mandarin orange can be removed. The mochi part is finished with clear lacquer. The mandarin orange is painted with watercolor paint and then finished with lacquer. There are individual differences in color during the dyeing process. Also, due to the nature of wood, there may be black lines, dots, or knots that look like scratches. There are also differences in color even within the same beech wood. There are differences in the wood grain compared to the photos, but please enjoy it as part of the character of the wood.
