The square box shaped like a battery is empty. The square box has "+" and "-" terminals and is shaped like a battery to be installed inside the strobe body. Please note that you cannot operate the above GODOX strobes with this product alone. By attaching the square dummy battery part to the battery slot of the strobe body and connecting the D-Tap male connector on the other end to the D-Tap female connector of an external power supply, you can make the strobe body flash. By using the included D-Tap connector (female), you can also power the AD200Pro and AD300Pro with an AC adapter (see photos 14-17 - operation at your own risk). When I purchased it, I was planning to remove the D-Tap male connector on the dummy battery side and connect it directly to an AC adapter, and I bought an extra one in case I made a mistake with the electrical work. However, I realized that "I can use it with either a V-mount battery or an AC power supply if I connect it to AC via the D-Tap female connector!", and by obtaining a separate D-Tap female connector, I didn't have to modify the dummy battery cable itself. As a result, I have one of these products left over. I won't be using this in the future, so if you are looking for this product, please consider it. The dummy battery that is taken out of the box in the product photos is the one I am using. The product that will be delivered to the buyer is a new, unused product (photos 1-6). I have not taken it out of the original box, so I have not checked its operation. I bought it at the same time as the one I am using, so I think there should be no problem (no guarantee).
