I received this as a gift, but the timing and size didn't quite work out, so I haven't used it much, though it has been stored at home for many years. Both the poncho and mittens are reversible. The light blue side is nylon, so I think it will repel water. When you fasten the buttons, it can also be used like sleeves. I will ship it folded in a recycled box.
