It was about 35 years ago that I met the current Kajiya-san, and we have worked together through trial and error to reach where we are today. Kajiya-san makes the knife blades, and I handcraft the handles, paulownia boxes, and brocade bags. We are in the process of applying for trademark registration for "Gentaiho."
