11/03 Recently, there has been a noticeable trend of purchases being "snatched" from dedicated listings. While there's no rule on Mercari that protects "dedicated" listings, and thus snatching isn't against the rules, I consider it a lack of morals and will not ship to those who do it. In the case of a snatched purchase, I will block the buyer and then cancel the transaction, selecting "item not available" and writing a suitable reason. (My cancellation rate will be affected, but I prioritize the fact that I have many repeat buyers and completed transactions increase daily, so I don't worry about it and cancel all such transactions.) 10/20 I may cancel transactions at my discretion with accounts that have a total rating of 0 or those without a ★5 rating. 2/7 I'll never get used to the standard "price reduction" comments, and in the past, I've ignored them about 90% of the time. From now on, I will ignore all price reduction comments, including standard ones. Exception: I will consider all offers where the buyer specifies a price. 1/30 Regarding Priority I am grateful that many customers are viewing my items and sending me combined purchase requests and comments. As a policy, I always handle requests in order of oldest to newest. For example, for the same item: If a combined purchase request came in 1 hour ago, and a comment with a price reduction request or other inquiry came in 30 minutes ago, I will not even look at the 30-minute-old comment. I believe this avoids favoritism. I will only look at the 30-minute-old comment if I am not satisfied with the negotiation from 1 hour ago. Please understand that if I am satisfied with the negotiation, I will not even look at the comment. Important Regarding returns: I will only accept returns from those who provide a video recording, without cuts, from the moment they open the package. 1.
