I will temporarily suspend listings from February 4th due to moving. I will relist items once I have updated my address and other information, so please wait a little longer. Thank you for viewing. I am a qualified Japanese tailoring technician and a first-class kimono dressing technician. I have been involved with kimonos for many years, and I know that many people give up on used items because the arm length is too short or the sleeve length doesn't fit. However, there are many exquisite items available in the used market that you can't find anywhere else. If you find a kimono you like, please don't give up and feel free to consult with me. I mainly list unused items, but since they have been stored by someone, they are not new even if they haven't been worn. I carefully inspect items before listing, but there may be minor imperfections that I miss. Please understand this. My criteria for determining an item as unused, based on the perspective of a Japanese tailor, are: the absence of stains such as body oil on the collar, sleeve lining, and hem lining; the presence of stitching on the sleeves, hem, and front panels; and the absence of any traces of the waist and chest ties from dressing. I use these basic criteria to determine if an item is unused, so please understand. I pay close attention to packaging and strive to ship items carefully so that buyers will smile when they receive them. I can create "reserved" listings, but please understand that "reserved" listings are not an officially recognized rule by Mercari, and I will prioritize the first person to purchase. <Alterations> I offer free services for arm length adjustments and paid services (¥3000) for sleeve length adjustments. Please check the product description. (When lengthening sleeves or arm length, I will remove the creases during the alteration process, but traces of the alteration may remain. If you are concerned, please refrain from requesting this service.) Also, I do not accept alterations for furisode (long-sleeved kimonos) or tomesode (formal black kimonos). Please understand that there may be slight measurement errors due to the nature of fabric. Also, as I am a Japanese tailor, I measure with a shaku ruler. There may be slight differences (1 or 2 millimeters) from measurements taken with a measuring tape, so please understand. For those who purchase tsumugi, komon, or iromuji kimonos, I offer a restitching service for ¥27,000 (including tax), which is usually ¥34,000. For other alterations, I will outsource to a comprehensive tailoring company in Kyoto. This will be expensive, so please consider carefully and consult with me. I strive for quick and reliable transactions, so thank you for your cooperation.
