Listings
I list items on Mercari with the feeling of "allowing my daughter (the item) to be taken as a bride (by the buyer)." In other words, I hope that the person I sell to will cherish the item, believing that items have a life of their own and that the creator's heart is imbued within them. Until a few years ago, I made my living as a ceramic artist. I am interested in art (paintings, pottery, etc.), and many of my listings are those types of items. I hope for transactions where both parties feel "good" without haggling. Regarding prices, I try to make them a little more affordable than others for the same item. Therefore, I do not inflate the price beforehand with the intention of lowering it. However, if I feel "this person is right for it," I will lower the price myself. Conversely, I will make harsh comments to those who enjoy haggling over even items worth a few hundred yen, or those who lack common sense, good judgment, and moderation, such as asking "How much can you lower the price?" This is because if I don't, "Like!" → "Price reduction" will become the norm, and sellers will start to inflate prices beforehand, or Mercari itself will become a "bargain-hunting market" and a "market for cheap and shoddy goods." As a result, sellers will eventually be driven away, and Mercari itself will cease to function. Although, perhaps Mercari itself should seriously consider this. Also, I try to provide as detailed an explanation as possible for my listings. I believe this is essential for buyers to make the right decision. I hope to have a connection with you through Mercari. Ships within 24 hours. Instant purchase OK. Thank you for reading.
