Please purchase the chassis, GUP518, fixing screws, spacers, drill, files, etc., separately. This jig is created using a 3D printer. There may be minor misalignments or blemishes. Please refrain from purchasing if you are seeking perfection. The Type chassis, which wreaked havoc about 30 years ago, still has re-released models using them sold by Tamiya. In recent years, a re-released Avante Jr. was released to commemorate the 30th anniversary of its release. The Type 2 chassis used in this Avante Jr. is a masterpiece with many structures inherited by current chassis. However, there are many problems that cannot be avoided simply by attaching parts. Among them, the attachment of the front and rear bumpers is a difficult point that cannot be avoided. The front has no strength, and the rear doesn't even exist. For the front, you cut up the chassis, make a flat surface, and drill screw holes. For the rear, you either use the attachment for the rear skid, which is a discontinued part, or cut up the chassis and FRP and fix it with an I-beam, which is the standard method. By the way, the rear skid attachment has a single-point fixation and will have play. However, the I-beam method is a high hurdle. Even if you insert an FRP plate by biting screws into the cooling slits under the motor, the groove width is slightly wider than the screws, so millimeter-level misalignment occurs due to strong impacts. As a result, many people end up putting them out of service, for display, or for viewing... This product was created for all of you, and above all, for myself. Although it is a jig, holes are drilled in the curved surface of the chassis, so individual adjustments are required for some misalignment (a 1.5mm spacer is used in the example in the photo). We will make pre-shipment minor adjustments such as fitting the jig to the chassis and removing large burrs remaining from the manufacturing process, but we ask that those who can use it to some extent purchase it.
