This kimono is made with a very fine cut and excellent fabric, sewn with great care. Although there is no certification, so its origin is unknown, it features a pattern of kasuri, reminiscent of Ryukyu patterns. I regret that the subtle sheen, not apparent in the photos, cannot be captured. I feel it would be a waste to unravel it, but no one fits it, and my only slender niece said she doesn't like the style, so it has been sleeping in my closet. The outer fabric appears to have no noticeable stains. The lining and the hem facing also have no noticeable stains, but as shown in the 9th photo, there is a stain on a part of the inner collar. It might come off with cleaning, but it's not guaranteed, so please refrain if you are concerned. The width doesn't fit me, let alone the裄 (sleeve length to center back), so I cannot wear it stylishly. I will pass it on to someone who can wear it beautifully.
