This is a very finely made kimono, crafted from excellent fabric and sewn with care. While there are no certification tags, making the maker unknown, it features a Ryukyu-style kasuri (ikat) pattern. Unfortunately, the photos don't capture the beautiful sheen of the fabric. I hate to disassemble it, but the size doesn't fit anyone. My only niece, who is slender, doesn't like it, so it's been sitting in the closet. The outer fabric appears to be free of noticeable stains. The lining and the himawari (underskirt) also have no significant stains, but as shown in the ninth photo, there is a stain on a part of the ura-eri (inner collar?). It might come out with washing, but it's not guaranteed, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. The width doesn't fit me, regardless of the yukitake (sleeve length), so I can't wear it. I'm hoping to pass it on to someone who can wear it beautifully. This is perfect for those who enjoy wearing old kimonos and want to enjoy fashion. I will sell it to someone familiar with handling antique kimonos. The size is measured flat.
