Deba knife, blade length 16.7cm, 252g. The back is about 8.6mm thick near the top of the heel. There are traces of a maker's mark, but it's completely unreadable. This is a genuine kasumi blade, made by forging soft iron and steel together. The rust marks have mostly been removed, but upon close inspection, faint marks and small scratches remain, so please check the photos carefully. The handle has been replaced with a new one and should last for quite a while. It has been thoroughly sharpened, the blade has been honed, and it has been polished.
