This is a tenugui (hand towel) from the unique Rakugo storyteller, the 9th generation Irihune-tei Senkyo, who was loved by everyone for his charming personality and storytelling style. He was also renowned as a haiku poet and served as the master of the "Tokyo Yanagi Kukai," a gathering of prominent figures such as Rakugo storyteller Kosanji Yanagi, Rokusuke Ei, and Rakugo storyteller Beicho Katsura III.
