Yanagiba knife, blade length 19.4cm, 98g. The spine is about 3.5mm thick near the top of the heel. Unfortunately, the maker's mark is gone. This is a genuine kasumi blade, made by layering soft iron and steel. While most of the rust stains have been removed, faint marks and small scratches remain, so please check the photos carefully. It appears to have been used and sharpened to a certain extent, with some reduction in blade width and length, but there's still plenty of blade left. The handle has been replaced with a new one, so it should be usable for quite some time. It has been thoroughly sharpened, the edge has been set, and it has been polished.
