This is a single, high-quality obi締め (decorative sash tie) made with plant-dyed threads in the Kore-gumi technique, featuring a plum blossom design. This obi締め is perfect for wearing from New Year's through February. (Although the design is meant to be plum blossoms, it can be worn year-round if you consider it simply a floral pattern.) The design features red (a pink close to vermilion) and white mizuhiki (decorative cords), with flowers and buds dyed in different colors on the left and right sides. The design alternates between line drawings and filled-in areas. The base color is dyed with plum tree, a color similar to Rikyū-nezumi (a grayish-brown) but closer to brown. It was difficult to explain, so I took photos after removing the obi封 (paper band). Please take a look. Although it is new, unfortunately, it has developed some stains during storage. They are located approximately 10cm and 21cm from the center (back). Please check the photos. If you are concerned, please refrain from purchasing.
