It is a collection of posthumous papers published by Miraisha in 1967, and is a document of high academic value that traces the development of university systems and ideas. ◎ Mr. Shimada's research had always focused on the history of German universities since his graduation thesis. He published many excellent papers. Therefore, it was Mr. Shimada's wish to compile the history of university research in a more advanced form. Now that Mr. Shimada has passed away, that has become impossible, so it became the wish of many of us who were left behind to compile the previously published papers related to university history into one volume.
