The fabric pieces are sewn diagonally, and the hem is an irregular handkerchief hem, giving it a unique look. Tucks are added throughout, and elastic is used in the waist to create gathers. The area under the tucks is slightly stitched to prevent the stomach area from puffing out. The original Oshima Tsumugi silk was advertised as antique, and the fabric was thin, so it was doubled throughout to prevent transparency and reinforce the fabric. Although it's doubled, it's still very lightweight because it's Oshima Tsumugi silk. It's flowy, but not bulky, so it can be styled with a long, tight top to reduce volume. The hem circumference is a generous 180 cm. Accommodates hips up to 116 cm. The waist elastic is 80 cm, but there's also a drawstring, so it can be adjusted freely. No lining or pockets. For washing, we strongly recommend putting it in a net and washing it with delicate detergent, then hanging it to dry in the shade.
