A singleチラシ (chirashi) hook bites sharply into the scales of the Ayu, making it a rig that is less likely to lose fish compared to anchor hooks. Chirashi hooks have a longer reach and, unlike anchor hooks, are less likely to droop, making them effective for play Ayu. Nowadays, there are places where it's difficult to obtain decoy Ayu, and the use of Ayu fishing lures is increasing. This rig is also ideal for targeting Ayu with Ayu-ing.
