In 1756, she moved the kiln in Vincennes, north of Paris, which had been developed under the protection of the state, to her own mansion, Bellevue, in Sèvres, west of Paris. Later, in 1759, it became the "Royal Sèvres Porcelain Factory," but production was very limited due to its status as a national kiln, and it was called "rare porcelain." Even today, production is limited to 6,000 pieces, most of which are made for the French state.
