My father, during his lifetime, loved and collected Japanese and Chinese antique art, and even served as the director of a private museum. I also gradually came to love these items while studying them, and I want to ensure smooth transactions so that everyone can appreciate and handle the items. I also have many items that I have collected myself, so I hope you find something you like. As some of you may know, even if you ask domestic or overseas auctions to authenticate and appraise items, they often won't be accepted if they lack provenance or if they haven't been stored for many years in a particular collection, such as a wealthy family's. This is different from the essence of the item, and it doesn't mean it's a fake just because it doesn't pass. I believe many people are more moved by seeing the items in person rather than on a screen. I will be honest about any major scratches or cracks, but since these items are over 100 years old, I hope you will appreciate any scratches or stains that cannot be removed, seeing them as a sign that the item has a spirit. I initially set the prices a little high because I want you to cherish the items above all else. For example, I think you all understand which you would cherish more, an item purchased for 10,000 yen or one purchased for 1 million yen. I will be lowering the prices as time goes on. I intend to promote these items so that they can be passed down to those who want them and to the next generation, just as my ancestors cherished them. Some items are more durable than commercially available ones, so I may use recycled cardboard boxes for shipping. I will pack the items with newspaper and bubble wrap. Please be sure to inform me if you live on a remote island or in an area where delivery is difficult. Also, please note that I cannot sell to minors. Since there are no appraisal institutions for old ceramics, I will retake photos, so please feel free to ask questions or leave comments. Also, due to return fraud, I cannot accept returns after purchase. Thank you for your understanding.
