My mother's house, items from my husband's sister. A collection of the remaining kimonos from my sister-in-law's mother-in-law. My mother, as a hobby, learned hand-painted Yuzen from a famous Tokyo Yuzen artist. She dyed numerous kimonos and obi for her daughters, even dyeing wedding attire. All of these have come to my house, and they monopolize the largest room. In addition, the only Japanese-style room has a chest of drawers, and even the closet is piled high with boxes of kimonos.
